Marsha Jones running Leeds 10k in support of Bramley War Memorial
Marsha Jones, licensee of The Black Lion, Broad Lane, Bramley is running the Leeds 10K on Sunday July 9th to raise funds for our forthcoming Peace Garden. Ted Hanley, sad news
We are sad to report that Ted Hanley, one of the founder members of Friends for a Bramley War Memorial died on Monday, 29th May, aged 71. Ted was a Councillor for Bramley until 2015 and will be sadly missed, his Company is named on the Sponsor’s Plaque in the Memorial surrounds. He worked hard…

Marion North
We are sad to report that Marion North passed away on Wednesday 8th March, 2017.
Marion was an original member of the Committee of Friends of a War Memorial for Bramley and also Bramley History Society.
Marion is pictured here withh the original Archivist, the late Brian Crowther.
She will be missed.
