Wednesday May 9th saw the visit of the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Jane Dowson to see the work undertaken by the Bramley Baptists War & Remembered Graves team and also to present the volunteers with a copy of the Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award. The team have worked for the past four years…
On Monday 23rd April we marked St.George’s Day by flying our new St. George’s Cross flag and also honouring local veterans of the Korean War who attended to pay respects. Our dedication listed Leeds servicemen who died in this war and also marked the anniversary of the Battle of the Imjin River in 1951.
