There are 741 names included on Bramley War Memorial. Everyone has a story worth sharing.
Friends of a War Memorial for Bramley, a non profit organisation initiated a charitable memorial fund in order to build a memorial dedicated to the brave men and woman of Bramley, Rodley and Stanningley who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The War Memorial was unveiled on 4th August 2014.
Fundraising activities since the unveiling have all had a community focus and have raised funds for future plans and specific items such as a Union Flag.
We had all the costs and components of the Public Address system donated including the costs of a petrol generator.
This website and planned educational material have been funded through a generous grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and will ensure that we can engage with and inform all members of the community.
