Wednesday May 9th saw the visit of the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Jane Dowson to see the work undertaken by the Bramley Baptists War & Remembered Graves team and also to present the volunteers with a copy of the Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award. The team have worked for the past four years in looking after and maintaining 80 plus individual graves and memorials as well as undertaking work across the whole churchyard.
