Three new names added to Bramley War Memorial.
Since Easter 2015, we have been receiving, finding and researching new names to be inscribed on two new plaques to be unveiled on November 11th this year. These names are primarily from Rodley and Stanningley with a number of newly discovered Bramley names.
All names, new ones and the 505 already inscribed on Bramley War Memorial will be also be included in a set of Books of Remembrance, one of which will be on permanent display in a local community facility. There will also be an “online” searchable version of the book, available through this website.
The book will contain a lot of additional information from our database, including references to all places of remembrance and service details.The launch date is also to be 11th November.
