Commemoration of D Day and the Liberation of France
Our Union Flag was flown today to mark the 75th Anniversary of D Day.
We remembered the two local men who died on D Day, the twelve who died in the weeks afterwards and D Day veteran Peter Paylor who died in 2016 and attended our Unveiling in 2014.

On Tuesday November 27th 2018, we held the fifth commemoration at Bramley War Memorial of the death of Rifleman Sheldon Steel who died in Afghanistan in 2011.
The commemoration was marked with a framed dedication, lit candle and the flying of our Union Flag. “ Swift and Bold”
