On Signing off I must say that very well done to you all for the very hard work you all put in for the Memorial. People think it ant much to say we will do it…..a lot of very hard work had gone into that well done, and I myself are very please that i did what i am good at to make the day go well.

Thank you, for all the work you and others too have done to bring about the memorial being established (so attractive and tasteful). Your lasting achievement has brought pleasure to so many people as demonstrated at the opening service last Monday.

Once a week I do ward visits all day. Today I visited a lady in get 80’s RE a local issue. During course of conversation she mentioned her Dad AND Brother were both WW2 fatalities and on the memorial. She then promptly burst into tears that they had finally been honoured. I don’t go in for group emails so I’ve kept this tight but……BLOODY WELL DONE to you and your team!!

My cousin and I attended the Unveiling Ceremony at Bramley yesterday – what a morning to remember. THANK YOU so much to ALL involved in every aspect of producing such a wonderful Memorial and Home for our brave Bramley Boys. We really felt that at last our Grandfather and his brothers had come home from World War 1 and would like to think that everyone present left the War Memorial with a feeling of great pride for a job well done – a debt of honour paid – so that we do not forget.
