Three new names added to Bramley War Memorial.
Our second “Flag Event” of this week was to both commemorate (for the second) year, the memory of Trooper Alfred Latto, who died aged 18 as part of the rearguard during the withdrawal to Dunkirk and also to fly the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards Regimental Flag.
Alfred still has relatives in Bramley who support our activities, the 4th/7th is the old Regiment of Dave Dubej who organises our Flag Events and much more with both the Memorial and the War and Remembered Graves Team.
